There is no sink more interesting than a stone vessel sink hand crafted from petrified wood.  At one point in time, this stone was actually wood. Over hundreds of thousands to millions of years the process of fossilization has replaced the organic materials in the wood with minerals, keeping the grainy structure of the wood while slowly turning it into stone.  You can read more about how petrified wood is created here.

Petrified wood sinks are one of the most unique products we offer.  No two are close to being the same shape or color.  Each petrified wood vessel sink is hand cut from a single piece of stone, with a naturally organic, highly textural exterior and a highly polished lip and bowl.  A standard vessel sink drain will fit the drain hole and we recommend a 'pop-up' style drain which will allow the water to drain quickly and easily.  Use a mild liquid soap to clean the sink bowl and lip.  Do not use any abrasive cleanser nor any acidic cleanser.  We recommend using a stone sealer on the lip and bowl when installing this vessel sink and at least 1 time per year thereafter.
