Salvaged Teak Door Panels from Java Island, Single Piece of Teak
Left = 17 3/4" wide x 62 1/2" x 2" thick, 51 lbs.
Right = 17" wide x 62 1/2" x 2" thick, 49 lbs.
A interesting, rustic set of salvaged antique teak door panels from East Java Island, Indonesia, with visual interest and texture. These doors are each hand cut and hand carved from a single piece of teak, making them unusually rare. It is no longer possible to cut this size of standing old growth teak tree, and the width makes each of these doors more valuable. This particular set of doors don't exactly match in design, but they came from the same house when it was dismantled. Why they don't match is a mystery, but it also adds to their visual interest.
Hang on your wall with hinges (so you can also show off the back side detail of these doors) as a piece of art or build a rolling barn door or exterior gate (see last picture for an example). Sold as a set only.
